Wellfleet Oyster Festival
The annual Wellfleet Oysterfest is scheduled for: October 15 & 16, 2016. As always, the Wellfleet Oysterfest does not disappoint. People drive from as far away as New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island to enjoy fresh shucked oysters right here in Wellfleet!
In 2013 an estimated 25,000 people walked through festival entrances paying a small admission fee for the first time ever! This comes from an effort to keep the event safe and sustainable for years to come. Proceeds from the ‘Fest fund SPAT’s educational mission including a local college scholarship program and community grant awards. To date, SPAT has given back more than $175,000 to the local community.
Shuttle transportation to and from your parked vehicles located at Newcomb’s Hollow Beach, White Crest Beach and LeCounts Hollow Beach.
