Marconi Boom!

Marconi Boom! On July 24th at 3PM a fisherman found a device in the sand and called authorities. When the Wellfleet police arrived, they called in the State police.  It turns out the device the fisherman found was originally from World War II.  At 7PM the device was detonated and exploded on the beach, while curious spectators watched and clapped as smoke filled the air.  Nobody was hurt and the explosion was actually pretty cool! Goes to show you never know what you will find along the sandy shores of Cape Cod.
