Cahoon Hollow Beach – Wellfleet
Cahoon Hollow Beach in Wellfleet is best known as the “Beachcomber” beach, for it’s close proximity to seasonal favorite restaurant and live music venue; The Beachcomber. Located on Ocean View Drive, along with the other Wellfleet oceanside beaches, Cahoon Hollow is as beautiful as it is difficult to descend, and ascend due to the steep sand cliffs. Don’t fret, walking paths in the summer are well worn, and the reward for making it back up that cliff is a meal, drink and lively entertainment!
In recent years (2018) Cahoon Hollow Beach has suffered from beach sand cliff erosion and in same cases has seen portions of the parking lot collapse. For more information, read the following articles regarding this events:
