Cool weather is here and it really feels like Winter again. Sun is nice and shining and the temperatures have been in the 50′s. Although Summer is still the best time of year to visit Cape Cod, Winter is nice too. We can still go for nice walks on the beach, stroll the streets of Provincetown, enjoy great food and so much more. We are just about back from a nice trip up to Michigan, Chicago and back to home again. It has been great weather and it has been great to visit family and friends. Thanksgiving is just around the corner …got to go get a nice turkey to enjoy with the whole family.

This year Halloween falls on a Monday, the weather was in the 50′s during the day, nice and sunny. As the evening approached the temperature fell into the 40′s, but was still nice weather for trick or treating. While we were not home this year to hand out candy, our grand kids were out in town enjoying this great holiday. Everything is put away for the Winter and we are enjoying a nice trip to Michigan to see family. Till next week….

The motel is now closed and we have brought all the flowers/plants inside for the Winter. We have just come back from our first trip to our lake house in Maine since we opened for the season back in May. The weather was fantastic, we enjoyed kayaking, bird watching, a jeep ride through the woods, local food and hand picked apple pie. We are now back home, but about to depart for a trip up to Michigan to see family as well as some stops on the way there and back to see some friends. We will give an update when we return! Enjoy this great Fall weather.
