Yes, it really is winter here on Cape Cod! For many of you, you only know the Cape as a sunny beach community where the sun is shining hot every day and the ocean is a place for swimming. But, during the wintertime, the Cape transforms into a winter paradise, where there can be snow, sleet, rain and more. Right now we are enjoying rain! Just the other day we had over 5 inches of snow to play in, today it is all gone.
This winter has been very mild. Temperatures in the 40′s to 50′s most days. Normally we would be seeing temperatures in the 30′s and below….. So this is a nice change from the norm.
We are busy working on a new website and reservation system and we cannot wait to use it for the upcoming 2021 season! See you all very soon!

The motel is now closed and we have brought all the flowers/plants inside for the Winter. We have just come back from our first trip to our lake house in Maine since we opened for the season back in May. The weather was fantastic, we enjoyed kayaking, bird watching, a jeep ride through the woods, local food and hand picked apple pie. We are now back home, but about to depart for a trip up to Michigan to see family as well as some stops on the way there and back to see some friends. We will give an update when we return! Enjoy this great Fall weather.

Fall has finally arrived here on Cape Cod. Although we have been enjoying some rather hot and humid weather these past few days, we know that the cool weather is on it’s way. We are ready for the color changing and the falling leaves…the beaches are a great place to take a relaxing stroll and most restaurants are still open for a couple more weeks. If you are looking to getaway with your family or just for two, Fall is the perfect time to relax by our heated indoor pool, enjoy our hot tub and get sweaty in our sauna. We have lots of great magazines and books to enjoy as well as cable TV with HBO in every room. Don;t wait till it’s too late..we are open till October 16th then we close till May 2012. We hope to see you soon!
