September 23rd marks the first day of Fall for the 2011 season. We are excited that Fall is upon us…but we are also sad to see Summer come to an end. The weather has been crisp and cool..the leaves are starting to fall and the traffic has died way down. This time of year is a great time to visit the Cape with no traffic and no lines. Beaches are free and most restaurants are still open. The big Oysterfest weekend is almost upon us, October 15 & 16. That will be our last weekend open for the 2011 season, so be sure to come and see us between now and them.

The countdown has begun….Summer has almost come to an end. With only 12 more days to go we want to take advantage of all this fabulous sunny weather we are having here on Cape Cod. Temperatures in the 70′s, sun shining high in the sky, nice breeze to keep you at just the right temperature…..ahhhh..the great days of Summer. And to think it will be a good 7 months till it comes around again. Luckily there are a lot of great things to do and enjoy in the Fall here on Cape Cod. Walking the beaches, hiking the trails, visiting historic sites, eating at all of the great restaurants and just relaxing by the indoor heated pool and hot tub. Come on down and get away while you still can. We are here and ready to make your stay and enjoyable one.

believe it or not, there are still 17 more days left to Summer! The weather is a bit cooler this week, but that doesn’t mean that the sun is not shining. So many things to do this time of year on Cape Cod: biking, hiking, beaches, boating, shopping, kayaking, fishing, eating and so much more! Right here at the Southfleet we have 2 pools, hot tub,sauna, game room, playground and complimentary bike rentals. Don’t let Summer get away too quickly and come and stay with us before the cold weather really kicks in.
