Summer is almost gone- soon it will be Labor Day Weekend and our beautiful Fall Season will start. The Southfleet Family have said our goodbyes to our wonderful summer help as they go off to school. Good luck in the coming school year to Tina, Jesse, Suzanne, Amy, Kendra, Candice and Randi. We wish you well and look forward to your return next summer. 

All Packed Up and Off to Alfred University

Great comments from today’s Cape Cod Times, “Marconi Beach in Wellfleet – a majestic piece of the Cape Cod National Seashore is a huge beach with major dunes. We agree. There is always plenty of parking and there are stairs down to the beach. Large waves make it great for surfing.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads staying at the Southfleet Motor Inn this weekend. What a beautiful way to start this special weekend with temperatures in the 80′s and lots of sunshine. Happy Father’s Day to our own , Brad Sverid, owner of the Southfleet. He is looking forward to going out in the boat and catching some fish for the evening barbecue! If not- there is always steak!

In Full Bloom for Restaurant Week in Wellfleet

We are getting ready for Wellfleet’s first “Restaurant Week” June 3-June 10th here at the Southfleet Motor Inn. We have a Hot Deal Special  for $93 per night for you to come and experience  what we have to offer and to dine in some of the Cape’s best restaurants in a relaxed atmosphere- before  the summer.

What a nice time of year to come to Cape Cod. No crowds and the weather is predicted to be warm and sunny for this weekend. We are getting ready here at the Southfleet Motor Inn for a great weekend.

We tried out the new hot tub last night. Love the waterfall and lights. It was a nice was to unwind after a busy opening day at the Motor Inn. The pool was refreshing- and clean with sparkling warm water. The Southfleet has one of the most beautiful pools on the lower Cape.
