The weather couldn’t be nicer here on Cape Cod. The last true weekend of summer is here. The Southfleet is full this weekend with many return guests enjoying the beaches , hiking trails, bicycling and our local restaurants.  After an active day full of Cape activities, they love a swim in the 88 degree pool. Very relaxing! Don’t forget our special Wellfleet OysterFest in October. We still have a few rooms available- 2 night minimum, please. Call or book online for Oct 15, 16 & 17.  We have also extended our season one week later in October. Our last night will be October 25th this year.

Fall Flowers

for their annual family reunions. The weather was perfect for the bonfires on the beach, biking and hiking. Everyone enjoyed the indoor pool -especially the children and teens. Over the years we get to see the babies and toddlers become young adults- and even come back with their children!

Labor Day Weekend is here at the Southfleet Motor Inn.  Sorry to see the summer go- and it has been a beautiful summer ! Looks like Hurricane  Earl is going to miss us. Here on the Outer Cape, we are use to high winds and rain -and this one is  coming and going fast.
