Come stay at the Southfleet Motor Inn and swim in our warm indoor pool. Relax in the sauna or hot tub. Restaurants are right on the premise- with VR’s award winning breakfast /brunch buffet. Hot Deals on rates available. 
Gull Pond is located just a few miles from the Southfleet Motor Inn and is a great place to swim and boat with the whole family. Gull Pond has docks for the kids to play on and jump off of and the water is shallow and clean. Located right at the pond you can rent boating equipment such as: kayaks, canoes, seacycles, paddleboats and more. You can rent by the half hour, half day and they even have a 3 hour special. Rentals are available from 9am to 6pm weather permitting and you do need a Wellfleet beach sticker to park at the pond during the Summer months.
Adults can enjoy the beach while the kids like to play on the beach and swim in the water. The beach is party shaded which is great for little ones and adults who like some shade. Gull pond has been a family favorite for many many years and is a great alternative to the ocean beaches.

This Sunday August 23rd do not miss the Incredible Casuals band playing at the Wellfleet Beachcomber. Located right at Cahoon Hollow beach the Beachcomber has great food, great views and great people. The show starts at 4pm and costs $10 per person. If you like great music, the ocean breeze and great food do not miss this great event.
The Beachcomber is open daily in the Summertime for lunch and dinner and is kid friendly. Enjoy the beach and grab a bite to eat all at the same time. You can get a drink at the bar as well as hot and cold appetizers. For more info on the Beachcomber visit their website here.
This weekend is supposed to be very hot and sunny. August is the hottest month of the Summer and the oceans waters are warm and inviting. Come on down to the Cape this Summer and stroll through quaint towns and enjoy the local beaches. Here at the Southfleet we have two large pools, kids playground, game room with ping pong, snack machine and more. You can bike to Marconi beach and enjoy a full day in the sun.
