It is almost New Years and the weather here is actually in the 40′s, which is really good for this time of year. The Weather Channel does say that we have colder weather coming soon however. We did have some snow on the ground for Chirstmas which was a nice touch for the holidays. We are off to Maine for the New Year for a week vacation and are excited to enjoy 18 inches of snow up there. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
We cannot believe that Christmas is soo close already. We feel like we have just closed the motel and are getting into the swing of things for this winter. Christmas on Cape Cod is always a great time of year, most people like to decorate their homes and business’s with holiday decorations and Christmas lights. The weather this Fall/Winter has been pretty good so far, some days have been very chilly and others have been quite warm. It is Nice to have a mix of both, this way each day is different and more exciting. We also had our first snow a couple weeks ago, it actually covered the ground about 2 inches, it did not last more than 2 days however. We hope for more snow this winter, enough to go cross country skiing as well as some sledding with the grand kids.
