Here at the Southfleet we have two very large pools one indoor and one outdoor. Also, within walking and bike riding distance we have beaches and ponds. Wellfleet has some of the best beaches on Cape Cod as well as in the World and you will not miss them when you stay at the Southfleet. You cannot be more than 1 mile from a beach when you stay this end of the Cape. You must visit the local beaches and poinds while you are here as they are VERY fun and the best part of Cape Cod.

The Capes biggest and best fair coming to Barnstable this coming week. This is a one a year event that is just soo much for for families and people of all ages. The fair has se many activities for kids and adults that you will not want to miss out. Some of the events that they have are: horse pulling, bull riding, demolition derby, local bands and so much more. There are new events each day and there are also tons of kiddie rides as well as adult rides. Craft tents are a big hit and the carnival food is just great! For more info visit their website here.

While you are on vacation in Wellfleet this Summer you may be wondering what activities there are available for your kids. Here at the Southfleet we have a kids playground, game room and two large pools. And if that is not enough to get started there are several playgrounds located in the center of Wellfleet as well as beaches where you kids can roam and play all day long. We also have a very nice large library that has an entire kids section full of toys, books, games and more. While you are on vacation you will not run out of things to do with your kids not matter the weather.
