Spring countdown at the Southfleet

Spring is in the air! Only 12 days until day light savings-set your clocks 1 hour ahead and gain 1 hour of sunlight at the end of the day. Winter exits and bows down to Spring in only 18 days. At the Southfleet Motor Inn our countdown to opening day is 59 days -April 30th. Soon the pool will be 85 degrees- flowers will be bloomimg and the rooms will be refreshed and ready for your Cape Cod getaway. See you soon!

Hello from Northern Maine

Winter is going fast… only 70 days until the Southfleet Motor  Inn opens for the 2010 Season.We have been up in Northern Maine ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and skiing- and , of course, Brad is keeping busy renovating our little lake  house! See you soon!

WOW!  We cannot believe the 2009 season has come and gone already.  It seems like just the other day it was Spring, and here we are in October.  We had a great season here at the Southfleet Motor Inn.  We met lots of new families and we got to reconnect with families from previous Summers.

Although the weather was not so great in the Spring, the Summer was fabulous!  We had hot sunny days and plenty of great weather to enjoy at the local Wellfleet beaches.  This year we offered bike rentals to all of our customers at no charge, this seemed to be a big hit and we will do the same next year.

We have closed down the motel for the Winter and Brad has already started to do some updates here at the motel.  He was soo anxious that he already drained the indoor pool and re-painted it!

And for other news, this is our 100th blog post here at the Southfleet Motor Inn blog!  What an accomplishment.  We enjoy writing so much, that we might just have to write 100 more posts!
